2019 Cock of The Harbour Results
27 boats lined up for this year's Cock O'Harbour race but a powerful Nor-Westerly wind decimated the fleet with only 2 boats reaching the finish line.
The 16ft Skiff crew of Rob Flanagan, Anthony Johnson and Graham Roberson put on a masterful display to get "Kilos" around the course to win both the scratch and yardstick results. The only other boat to finish was the MG14 "Scurvy Rascal" sailed by Arran Gore and Daniel Flood who finished about a minute too slow to beat the other finisher on yardstick.

2019 Newcastle Trophy Results
13 boats lined up for the revitalised Newcastle Trophy race, including a good collection of Flying Ants who all turned out again after yesterday's difficult conditions (which they described as "fun!!!") but the conditions were much calmer today - indeed the wind dropped away completely as the race started. It soon filled in again, and then died away again, and then filled in again several times throughout the race. The journey into the Basin proved a novel challenge. The Nacra 5.8 "Business Time" sailed by Dave Culip and Dean Nissen pulled away for a good win over the line followed by the Hobie 18 "Dug" sailed by John Burrows and Janease Graham. Third home was the Force 24 sailed by Justin Mitchell and crew of Alistair, Amanda and Glen who did more than enough to win the race on yardstick, from "Business Time" and the Ketch-Rigged Trailer-Sailer "Cygnet" sailed by Will Hardcastle, James Christie and ???.
